Can nearly three decades worth of theater-goers be wrong? Given its convenient theater row location, West Bank has been a predictably packed pre- and post-theatre favorite for years. Celebrity sightings are par for the course—Blythe Danner and The Daily Show's Louis Black, for starters. The attractive, stately décor suits the well-heeled clientele; the restroom's cascading fountain sink is an especially lovely touch. The menu's nothing really new, but both the food and the service are reliably good.
ExtraThe Laurie Beechman Theater, located on the lower level of the restaurant, is available to rent for private parties and performances.
