Beneath the tin ceiling and surrounded by warm brick walls is your basic neighborhood diner. Formerly Trio, the space last changed hands in 2004, but continues to serve a loyal base of Windsor Terrace long-timers and Park Slope overflow. The menu hits high, middle, and low notes: Burgers may be topped with pizza sauce, feta cheese or a Texas-style fried egg; fries are sizzled to a golden crisp; wraps burst with mounds of chicken salad and an overgenerous amount of red onions; salads keep it simple and hearty. Good news for those who have a hankering for breakfast at 8pm: The griddle is in full swing all day. On weekends, couples and families take advantage of a brunch that includes sangria or a watered-down mimosa.
