Profile
Zach Zaitzeff knows how slim the pickings are for wholesome eaters in the Financial District. That's why he left his desk job at a brokerage house to start this all-natural burger joint. The clean white interior is made rustic with long, wooden communal tables, each set with bottles of organic ketchup. The burgers, served with lettuce, tomato, and grilled onion, are made with prime, free-range, antibiotic and hormone-free cattle and cooked precisely as ordered. The sirloin burger and the Kobe beef patty are among the most choice offerings. Turkey and veggie options are available; all patties are served on toasted, slightly sweet Portuguese muffins. A small selection of sandwiches—organic chicken breast, ham and cheese, and a classic BLT—rounds out the menu. Plus, the swift service guarantees clock-watchers will get back to the office on time.
