We have been to Zocalo (on 82nd St) numerous times now. The food never fails to amaze us. Being serious foodies and Mexican to boot, we set the bar pretty high, but are consistently delighted by just about everything here. Last night, the carnitas de pato and Nieman Ranch costillas blew us away. The crispy whole red snapper was also memorable. We were equally impressed with the wine list there -- The Chilean Carmenere we had last night was superb. This is absolutely Mexican food at its finest.

HAPPY HOUR ANYONE?

This is the best spot in Grand Central for commuters to stop for after work drinks and apps. The location is so convenient. Before traveling outside the borough of Manhattan it's also convenient to meet someone here for a drink before hopping on the train.
