The cavernous Soho-cafeteria decor recalls a time when upscale casual masquerading as downscale hanging was more desirable than the illusion of intimacy. Yet the exposed kitchen is less out of time than the decor, its menu fearlessly promoting smart variations on the familiar. — Rob Patronite and Robin Raisfeld
We stumbled upon this restaurant as a result of Restaurant Week. We had great service from Andrew, who paired each course with some amazing wines. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service. Definately would go back!!!
There is no reason for any reasonable person to ever go to this restaurant. on my first and last visit - for lunch - I had to send my salad back twice, once because it came with the dressing and walnuts that I'd asked not be included (i'm allergic to walnuts) and the second time because the lettuce was so rotten it was completely brown and smelled. In spite of the staff's kindness about the situation, i left without eating anything. Even the pizza my friend had was mediocre at best. There are too many great and even just good restaurants in New York to waste one minute at this place.
