Cult followers of A.P.C.'s finely cut Parisian classics now have a second store in NYC to patronize. Opened in February 2011, the shop holds a wide selection of A.P.C.'s signature denim that’s famous for going from ultra-stiff to worn-in soft in days. The expansive, bleached blonde wood interior was designed by French architect Laurent Deroo and features a built-in A.P.C. soundtrack listening station. The store also houses special collaborations with House of Waris jewels, Aesop cosmetics, and the Quilt series, which takes spare fabrics from past collections and incorporates them into heritage quilts. Loyal customers can get a new pair of jeans for half-price when they bring in old, worn-out A.P.C. jeans which the store will revamp, mend, and resell in their Butler jeans series. And fans of A.P.C.'s older work can even find a special selection of reissued items from past collections.
