This double-edged boutique deals both one-of-a-kind eyewear and one-of-a-kind art. The curated space is conceptual, but warm—frames are displayed on simple glass shelves within glowing backlit cubes and vibrant paintings deck the walls. The 50-plus pieces here are a spectacle of new frames and museum pieces, many exclusive to the store. One of two on-site opticians helps shoppers whittle down trays of niche designer frames from a selection that favors the horn rimmed, the select, and the peculiar. Specs from Philippe Starck, Porsche Design, and Chrome Hearts sit alongside original prototypes like the Oleg Cassini–designed shades for Jackie O. The modern-art exhibits rotate every other month, marked by boozy fetes.
