Formerly a co-ed clothing store called A., the boutique was renamed Atelier New York in 2004 and rededicated exclusively to high-end men's clothes, shoes, and accessories by Rick Owens, Carol Christian Poell, Ann Demeulemeester and Shaun Leane. If you want patterns and color, don't bother, but the muted tones and simple styles are perfect for minimalist dressers.
