Colorful, trendy pieces designed to attract attention are the focus at this accessories-oriented boutique opened by Pratt grad students in 2007. The men’s hats hanging near the entrance include pinstriped fedoras with wide Chinese-print silk sashes, green and blue plaid baseball caps sporting hand-stitched floral skull patches, frog- and rabbit-decked beanies, and newsboy caps with iridescent sheens. Sparkly metallic slouch bags, fuchsia leather backpacks, and oversized pink python shoulder bags dangle from tree branches suspended from exposed brick walls, while a black-and-white bird print tacked to corkboard provides the backdrop for chunky ceramic necklaces, robot key chains, and hoop earrings. Clothing options include gauzy pastel dresses and ruffly sleeveless blouses by brands like Anna Sui and Charlotte Ronson, as well as slim-cut button-down dress shirts for men. Apparel turns more casual toward the back of the shop, where celestial-painted bookshelves hold silk-screened T-shirts with ironic mascots and canvas totes splashed with nonsensical French phrases.Sales
