The slightly more casual and affordable offspring of Barneys New York, a 10,000-square-foot outpost in Cobble Hill, houses numerous sophisticated designers under one roof. On the ground floor, which showcases collections by the likes of 3.1 Phillip Lim, Helmut Lang, T by Alexander Wang, and Rag & Bone, handbags from Marc by Marc Jacobs complement sea-green mannequins draped in DVF and Theyskens’ Theory. Menswear is somewhat sparse on the first level, but male shoppers have a larger selection on the lower level, which is down an industrial steel-and-glass staircase. Here, subdued glamour meets the trendy lumberjack via clean button-ups and comfortable casuals from Shipley & Halmos, A.P.C., and Junya Watanabe Man along with high-end T-shirts and cardigans. More women’s items are displayed downstairs as well, including stacks of 7 for All Mankind and J Brand jeans.
