Started by three childhood friends, this Queens skate shop is just a few blocks from the Astoria Skate Park, and the combination of the two has helped make Astoria something of a city skateboarding mecca. Inside the store, rows of decks, both arty and basic, hang against one wall while on another, sneakers and caps line shelves. A case in the back proudly displays a venerable supply of trucks, wheels, bearings, and other nitty-gritty skating gear. As for clothing, the shop has apparel from practically every street-wear brand a hypebeast could ever hope for: Huf, Crooks and Castles, The Hundreds, 10.Deep, and even Staple's famed "Pigeon," along with Belief's own line of boards, equipment, and apparel, which are all worth checking out. The only skate shop in Astoria, Belief takes advantage of its proximity to the skate park by occasionally organizing and sponsoring competitions there.
