This Brooks Brothers spinoff is the first store to exclusively carry the full Black Fleece collection, a high-end range of vintage-inspired formalwear designed by Thom Browne. The name is a riff on the Brooks Brothers golden sheep logo, which is stamped in red, white, and blue on the Fleece line’s leather clutches and wallets. Though a massive bureau desk, sweeping pinstripe curtains, and top-hat-clad mannequins evoke the same buttoned-up, formal feel of Brooks Brothers, Fleece suits model a hipper, slimmer fit than the main line. Sartorial staples like tuxedos are available in daring styles, like a ribbed lapel with grosgrain finishing or formal Bermuda shorts. Men’s and women’s suits in charcoal, light gray, and navy pinstripes sport soft, breathable Bamberg lining, and dressed-down ensembles like paisley women’s suits or men’s madras are fit for a garden party or yacht.
