Bob & Judi’s Coolectibles
This venue is closed.
Park Slope’s longtime destination for shoppers seeking delightfully kitsch bric-a-brac, Bob & Judi’s offers a mighty collection of figurines and furnishings, drink- and dinnerware. Relics and articles strategically placed on the sidewalk lure in a steady stream of neighborhood residents, who rummage through the midcentury gems—the surfaces of the long central line of shelves, dressers and tables that divide the store are piled high with unusual frames, retro ceramics, glass ornaments and other eclectic miscellany. And even if there is nothing desirable one week, it’s worth checking back the next, since husband-and-wife team Bob and Judi Pheiffer obtain their odd inventory, which includes ever-in-demand multi-compartment rustic crates, industrial tin objects, elaborate costume jewelry, postcards, and even dental instruments, by regularly combing flea markets and estate sales.
