High-end, South Asian tops, skirts, wraps, jewelry, and shoes fill this Upper East Side store with sparkle and color to spare. Metallic stitching sets off the dipping collars of flowing silk and cotton blouses, sequined butterflies embellish pashmina shawls, and handbags coated in ostrich skin, beads, or cut-out leather collages are among the designs that owner Bokhee Coe scouts out in India, Korea, and China. Many of them suit an older clientele drawn to gilded, exotic, and figure-forgiving garments, but the embroidered jeans and sequin-dotted T-shirts are geared more for their teenage and twenty-something co-shoppers. Glittery Indian jewelry and modestly priced, beaded slip-on shoes suit a broader range of ages, and a few simple, cabled cashmere sweaters might even please reserved types, but the silk, fox-trimmed Genghis Khan hats are strictly for statement-makers.
