Profile

This indoor offshoot of Fort Greene’s outdoor flea market is open every weekend from February though April. Though only about a third of the original flea market vendors participate in the winter pop-up, the two adjacent industrial spaces are packed with vintage furniture, art, jewelry, screen-printed apparel, and antiques. The sprawling buildings are situated across the street from one another along the DUMBO waterfront, with tall windows letting in natural light and funk music playing overhead. Shoppers wander thorough around 50 stations—trying on costume jewelry at Treasures + Pleasures, flipping through thousands of vintage postcards and black and white photographs at Lon Black, and scoping out deals on antique ephemera and furniture at Walker Antiques. Local bakeries and restaurants set up stands (and samples) as well, including mini cupcakes from Kumquat Cupcakery, pickles and spreads by McClure’s Pickles, cookies and whoopie pies from WannaHavaCookie, and Latin American specialties by Red Hook food vendors on hiatus from the Ball Fields.
