Tucked into a picturesque sea-foam green storefront, this frame shop caters to both locals looking for antique prints and major Madison Avenue art dealers. The main draw is the handmade frames, designed by owner Katy Browning and made locally by old-world-style craftsmen in Greenpoint. The small space is crammed, floor-to-ceiling, with a fanciful selection of vintage posters, celeb photos (the Rolling Stones, Jackie O., Marilyn Monroe), Josef Albers prints, and a wide range of vintage NYC memorabilia, like antique subway maps, photos, and Bromley architectural maps of Old New York. All of the rare stock can be framed in-house. Beyond prints and frames, the shop also carries glass jewelry and small ceramic bowls made by Browning’s mother.
