Profile

Burton's flagship store is as much about lifestyle as it is about snowboarding so it should come as no surprise that the shop resembles a mountain lodge, albeit one stocked with boards, boots, and goggles. As you might expect, the shop’s staff is passionate and well informed about the merchandise. And you’re going to need their help, too, considering the ever-evolving designs and the breadth of the goods. (The bindings alone come in freestyle, tournament, and recreational models.) Should you need to test out a winter hat, a pair of gloves, or a down jacket, the store's "cold room"—a small chamber chilled to just fifteen degrees—ensures your research stays thorough even during the off-season.
