Much more than just a bike shop, this sprawling fitness center feels like Olympic training grounds. Beyond the welcome desk and mod, potted-fern front lobby, you’ll find classes, clinics, and “concierge” coaching services dedicated to the serious athlete. In high-tech labs USAC- and USAT-certified technicians analyze blood lactate and VO2 levels so coaches can individualize workouts based on physiological areas of weakness. Outside of the exercise equipment used for training and evaluations, there is a café, valet services (for bikes, of course), and an “endless” pool. Clients can take highly personalized morning and evening spin classes in a large brick-walled exercise room or join outdoor training sessions. And then there’s the gear. Track, road, mountain and triathalon-specific frames, wheels, and components from European manufacturers like Campagnolo, Colnago, and Cervelo shine with the confident glow of victory. Expert builders assemble custom-fitted bikes according to your personal biomechanics (which Cadence will assess in a two- to three-hour evaluation). Jerseys, bib-shorts, and jackets from Cadence’s own clothing line are also for sale.
