Profile
Though this Spanish company was launched in 1975 by the descendant of a family with more than a century in the shoemaking business, the colorful local outpost has only been serving Soho shoppers since the start of the new millennium. Since then, however, a mix of tourists and devotees have been mobbing the shop for its playful designs—known for incorporating unexpected materials and eye-popping colors. The Twins line, for example, finds each shoe complementing—rather than mirroring—its match in terms of patterns and imagery. Whatever your style, lightweight, bulbous soles provide comfortable protection against New York City’s sidewalks.
