With this Lower East Side flagship, the Honduran-born Carlos Campos’ high-end menswear finally has a permanent home of its own on Orchard Street. The 600-square-foot space is a minimalist haven, with stark white walls, blonde wood floors (sanded by designer himself) and rectangular installations of racks that enable all items to be viewed from any vantage point. Campos, who was a CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalist in 2011, offers updates on preppy menswear classics (think jackets, fitted button-downs, trench coats and slim, structured suits) with pops of color. Also available is his full line of footwear, which includes chukka boots and modern, playful takes on Oxfords—as well as watches by Brera Orologi, designed specifically for the store. Suits can be tailored to fit in-house and delivered on request as well.
