This boutique stocks one-of-a-kind jewelry, handmade women’s clothing, and casual wear for the Williamsburg set. The store is tiny—about the size of a neighborhood studio. Owner and former seamstress Rony Vardi decorated both with sky-blue walls, vintage mirrors, and Moroccan lamps, and sells some of her own jewelry alongside intricate, gold charm necklaces by designers like Paper Fig and repurposed copper pieces. And though Catbird’s after-hours shopping parties are no more, savvy boyfriends can still stumble in to find the perfect gift for their indie gal.
