Since 1976, this eveningwear boutique has catered to Queensians needing something fancy for a night on the town. Assisted by attentive saleswomen, customers search through racks of colorful floor-length gowns and glitzy, knee-baring party dresses by both established and obscure designers. Solid-color silk cocktail dresses by Tadashi and conservative sheaths from Elie Tahari up the glam factor at formal business events, while vibrant prints from Nicole Miller beg to be let off the hanger to mingle at a lively party. Also on hand are dress suits, sportswear, and a small collection of bridesmaids' dresses in (what else?) various pastels. The clothing, which varies widely in quality and price, is set off by glass displays of costume jewelry, a stand of bright statement hats (think feathers, netting, and fur), two shelves of high heels and flats, and purses a bit too large to carry out on a special occasion but suitable for everyday use.
