This tiny year-round Christmas store peddles traditional holiday cheer amid the hotels and chain stores of Seventh Avenue. The nook is owned by husband-wife team Paul and Diane Prianti and run by a small, close-knit staff that includes Paul's mother and, occasionally, the pair's three teenage boys. The Cottage stash encompasses both holiday necessities and frivolous, cheery adornments, from tree skirts to embroidered pillows to poufy Santa hats. Themed Christmas trees are decked with tiny ballerinas from The Nutcracker, elaborate angels, New York–themed ornaments, and Polonaise glass. To foster even more festivity, Christmas tunes play overhead all day long.
