With vibrant yellow walls and thumping music, Citilimit caters to youthful locals and eager tourists. Instead of big, recognizable brands, the store focuses on reasonably  priced trendy items. Plenty of “going out” options decorate the walls and windows, including strappy patent-leather heels, perforated-leather booties, and neon pumps by the likes of Bon Bon and Chocolat Blu. For the gents, slick, pointy-toed leather lace-ups by Red Tape and Robert Wayne make stepping out easy. Sportier options have a smaller presence, but there are high-top metallic Puma sneakers, and Keds in a multitude of patterns. And, as Citilimit’s location on lower Broadway would suggest, sales are easy to come by. Look for markdowns on colorful Diesel and Asics sneakers, ultrafeminine Nanette Lepore flats, Miz Mooz and Tsubo leather boots, and stylish sandals, wedges, and stilettos from a variety of smaller brands.
