For brides dreaming up fantastic creations—perhaps a chuppa made from bamboo and calla lilies or a cascade of white roses that pours down from the ceiling—Inna Lipovsky has the artistic vision and design knowledge to make them a reality. Drawing on her previous careers as an architect and interior designer, the creative force behind City Blossoms constructs ornate, fairy-tale displays as well as the structures that sustain them, for any momentous occasion. Of course, not everything is so complex. Her minimalist shops in lower Manhattan and midtown also show off lush, monochromatic arrangements of vibrant orchids, tulips, and roses imported from such faraway destinations as Holland, Ecuador, and Israel. Stunning designs like the orange marmalade, violet femme, and strawberry fields prove that Lipovsky's eye for detail carries over to her scaled-down models as well.
