Situated on a narrow, out-of-the-way bend in Chinatown, this tiny boutique offers feminine teen fashions at affordable prices. Pale-yellow walls and blond wood floors provide a cheery atmosphere, as neighborhood girls stand shoulder-to-shoulder flipping through racks. The apparel is sourced from designers in Korea, China, and Japan—particularly Mood Enje, Angel Stearntngly, and MaLi O—featuring short, loose-fitting silhouettes, girly flounces, and dainty prints. Dresses and tops line double rows on both sides of the shop and fill the round rack in the center, most priced well below $100. The selection is dominated by dresses (including some of owner Mei Wah Kong’s own designs), with an assortment of silk frocks, breezy cotton styles with low-slung waists, and gussied-up versions with rows of buttons or an inch of tulle decking the hem. Lace-trimmed tanks and cotton blazers provide layerable basics, and strands of chunky costume jewelry near the register offer fitting accessories. — Lauren Murrow
