Dan and Ann Drucker decided there was a good market for selling action figures and character toys when friends kept asking Dan where he'd bought his Grant Hill basketball figurine. The husband-and-wife team went into the action-figure business in 2001, opening and closing shops on Franklin Street and East 10th Street before settling on Avenue B in July 2007. Although their storefront is tiny, an online selection offers thousands of additional new and unopened packages of retro and current toys, many of them limited-edition. Most of the items were manufactured in since 2000, though some of them were made in the nineties. There are plenty of classic favorites like Star Wars figures, G.I. Joes, and Barbies (with a great selection from the Gold Label collection). Also in stock are "I Love Lucy" alarm clocks, Elvis watches, Hanna Montana lunchboxes, Wizard of Oz Christmas lights, and plush animals for newborns.
