Part of the Confucius Plaza shopping strip, this Chinese-owned-and-operated shop gives locals eye examinations in the L-shaped back area, and sells designer frames in the smaller front space. The offerings cover men, women, and children, and are grouped by style. One case holds thick geek-chic frames by the likes of Dior (with crystal temple details), Fendi (with interlocking-F logos), Prada (multicolored), Gucci, Chloé, Vivienne Westwood, and Karl Lagerfeld. Another holds sophisticated rimless versions by more accessible Banana Republic and Calvin Klein lines. The Danish brand ProDesign features pared-down round styles, as well as sharper architectural pairs with lattice-like cutouts. There are also protective lenses, plus sunglasses by major brands like Cartier and emerging designers like Christian Roth and Derek Lam.
