Located across from Bowery Ballroom amidst the discount shops on Delancey Street, Consortiums stands out with its clean, unassuming glass exterior. The space feels like a clothing gallery, with owner Andre Munoz as curator and a revolving collection of inventive menswear on display. A bare concrete floor and simple shelves provide a spare backdrop for creative clothing styles, most of them from local designers Munoz knows from his many years in the fashion industry. Standouts include the spare, black-on-bright-white graphic T-shirts and sweatshirts of Procede, and the woolly cardigans, preppy dress shirts, and tweedy sports jackets of Well Played. — Andrew Cleary
