Rebelling against the notion that vintage stores look like dusty indoor flea markets, owners Moon Rhee and HeyJa Do adopted a squeaky-clean aesthetic for their Manhattan shop. The duo chose white as their theme—relying on white-washed interiors, a white sign, and even a white bike whimsically placed out front. Just as the space feels modern and fresh, the collection veers from that of your average secondhand boutique: Part of the stock is new, with a rotating collection from designers such as Comme des Garçons and Vivienne Westwood, and what isn’t new comes from cult names like McQueen and Yohji Yamamoto.
