This orderly East Village boutique stocks sleek, impeccably made office garb for men and women. Pale blue walls, exposed brick, and a burst of lilies at the register create an inviting atmosphere, and jazz plays overhead. The thirties-through-sixties-inspired women’s and men’s apparel lines opposite sides of the narrow shop in a spectrum of patterns and colors. Knee-length silk and silk chiffon dresses model simple silhouettes and pleated skirts, while wool pencil skirts, cropped jackets, sheer button-down blouses, and blazers round out the selection. Opposite, men’s sport coats, cotton button-downs in a range of pastel shades, and retro wool and linen pleated trousers provide versatile work-to-weekend ensembles. Wooden bookshelves near the entryway bear vintage oxford Hush Puppies to complete the dapper look.
