Look past the name to the selection: asymmetrical scratching posts that look like Frank Gehry might have had a hand in the design, dog bowls that wouldn’t embarrass on a human’s breakfast table, plus ergonomically correct feeders and easy-to-use, buckle-free harnesses. Two-dog owner Andy Schulman is so passionate about utilitarian design that she creates her own products, like 2Twelve messenger bags, which distributes a pet’s weight evenly for more comfortable transporting, and fleece-lined coats with reflective trim for safer nighttime walks.
Andy always gives each dog and owner so much personal attention at her shop. She fit several harnesses on my pup to see which one looked the best. And she has an eye for style! She coordinated a nice leash/harness/tag combo that is stylish but not too frilly for me.
My dog also loves the resident pup, Gravy. :o)
A nice shop to visit and get cool things for my puppy!
Doggy Style is great for dog lovers. The place is obviously run by pet lovers, who lavish just the attention my dog - and I - love. I've bought my puppy a few toys there and, unlike other toys, they are cute, thoughtful and, surprisingly for stuffed toys, far less destructible. And he loves them. So while they're not cheap, the fact that they last makes them good value. A great selection of very stylish collars too - good for those of us that want style to be reflected on our pets too.
