This husband-and-wife-owned vintage store stocks a range of styles, from cowboy boots to eighties sequined dresses. Giselle Carrera opened the shop in summer 2008, filling the racks with clothes straight out of her own collection. Though the space is still decorated with overflow knickknacks from the apartment she and her husband, Taylor Sesselman, share, the selection has since expanded to include mesh evening bags, vintage leather purses, denim and leather jackets, and the occasional vintage Betsey Johnson or Nanette Lepore dress (dresses start at $35). A red leather couch and a coffee table are stacked with old magazines for boyfriends and husbands to browse while their partners flip through racks of pencil skirts, flowery sheath dresses, tweed jackets, and delicate gold-axe and handcuff necklaces. The limited men’s section offers ties, shoes, and polos.
