Emily’s is the place for upscale, mature women who want designer clothing without journeying off of Staten Island. The boutique carries conservative apparel and accessories from labels like Tory Burch, Elie Tahari, and Badgley Mischka; in fact, Emily’s is the only place to find these designers on S.I. due to an exclusivity agreement precluding their sale anywhere else in the borough. Prices start at $60 for classic T-shirts and reach upwards of $5000 for couture gowns. Customers can browse the store’s mix of high-end sportswear and eveningwear on their own or enjoy the assistance of a personal shopper. There’s also an on-site seamstress. And most weeks, Emily’s hosts trunk shows or in-store appearances for designers introducing new collections.
