This little eyewear shop and its two downtown locations offer generic and high-end designer frames alike. Basic frames starting from under three figures line the wall racks, and there’s a smaller selection of affordable non-prescription reading glasses. The Gucci, Alain Mikli, and Dior frames in the display cases, on the other hand, can run quite high. Though there are a variety of styles on hand, from plain black wire frames to rhinestone-encrusted cat eyes, nothing is too out of the ordinary. In the front of the narrow shop is a collection of sunglasses—mostly black, oversize Devil Wears Prada–style shades, with a few aviator models and a case of Ray-Bans thrown in. Clients can have their eyes tested by the in-house optometrist and get their glasses in as little as an hour. Contact lenses—including colored ones—are also available.Doctor’s Hours
The optometrist is available in-store on Mon, Wed, and Fri, 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
