Founded in 1791, Girard-Perregaux is regarded as one of the most exclusive watch brands worldwide. This boutique is the first for the company outside of the Swiss Alps, and the store retains an elegant aura, with Pietra di Liserna stone floors and minimalist décor. The watches are the main attraction, artfully displayed in built-in horizontal glass cases. Unlike other high-end watch brands like Rolex and Cartier, Girard-Perregaux limits its annual production to about twelve thousand, all of which are produced in the same factory in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Prices range from about $8,300 for a simple, rectangular-faced Vintage 1945 watch to the hundreds of thousands. Especially striking is the Laureato Evo Tourbillon ($180,000), which features Girard-Perregaux’s signature three horizontal bridge design in sapphire beneath the hands of the watch.
