This Zen shop on Brooklyn’s otherwise bustling Atlantic Avenue is part of a growing movement toward products that are both ecofriendly and stylish. Wilsey Wolf (who used to work at a Manhattan design firm) and attorney Toni Nicolo exclusively fill their small brick-and-wood space with products that are sustainable, organic, recycled, locally manufactured, or nontoxic. You’ll find towering white-oak bookshelves handcrafted by a cabinetmaker in upstate New York, plush sofas and chairs with soy-based foam cores, and throw pillows hewn with recycled fibers. And there are smaller decorative accents that make it feel like you’ve stepped into someone’s home: green-tinted tumblers made from the bottoms of wine bottles, soy wax candles scented with oils, and a line of body products (room/body spray, bath salts, lotion) by Erbaviva.
