Divided into two departments, the airy shop showcases women's shoes in front and men's footwear on the left. Socks, stockings, shoe polish and other accessories are also available. Be sure to take note of the store's strict return policy, which is posted every few feet: Unworn items may be exchanged within ten days and refunds are not given.

Women's ShoesThe biggest department in the store boasts the widest selection. Ladies can choose from famous brand names (Bruno Magli, Cole Haan) or more obscure lines with offbeat styles (Naot, Crocs). It's less Sex and the City, more sensible in the city.

The binding came off the vamp of a pair of shoes the first time I wore them. I went directly to Harry's, where they refused to give me a refund. "Store policy," apparently divine and immutable. So I got another pair with the credit, and never shopped there again.

I bought a pair of shoes that ultimately were too small for me. I did not know it until I wore them to work. They were not uncomfortable in the store. I have bought many pairs of shoes there. They refused exchange the shoes or make good on them. I had to buy another pair of shoes to get home. There was another woman in the store complaining her shoe was defective, because one shoe fell apart. They said she must have walked too hard on it. They refused to take the shoe back because she had worn it.
