From the neon-pink store sign to the loud hip-hop music pumped through speakers to the black-and-pink checked carpet, everything in this sub-sidewalk jewelry and accessories boutique is bold and expressive. The two slender aisles are crammed with all manner of bling: necklaces bearing diamond-encrusted jaguar heads, thick wedges of plastic watermelon, sparkly Hello Kitty, miniature cans of 7-Up, and D.J. headphones compete for space with bangle bracelets, jean chains, and belly jewelry ranging from studs to saucers. The earrings come in an equally eclectic spectrum of styles, from ice-cream cones and peace signs to faux-gemstone teddy bears to fat, squat diamond studs.
