With Castor & Pollux, Kerrilyn Pamer has created a women's apparel boutique with a bevy of beautifully feminine (but not frilly) fashions. Trained as an interior designer, Pamer worked for Martha Stewart before turning her talented eye to clothing and accessories; now, she curates a petite store to help stylish New Yorkers build their wardrobes. Favoring classic pieces over anything trendy or fashion-forward, the result is an eclectic mix that looks simultaneously contemporary and vintage. The Filippa K line exhibits precise tailoring, while Risto Bimbiloski knits are more textural and youthful. The silk-screened hoodies with the store's logo—a pair of conjoined galloping horses—are particularly popular. Pamer also sells leather wallets and gold and silver jewelry, much of it created by local designers.Sales
