Camo enthusiasts of all ages can blend in for hours at Iceberg Army Navy, where the walls are swathed in flags and banners. Vintage regalia from Vietnam and World War II hangs from the ceiling. Besides BDU’s (battle dress uniforms) in every possible color and a dozen varieties of camouflage, from urban jungle to desert sands, the store’s clothing selection includes flight suits, rain and all-terrain boots, safari hats, canvas and leather jackets by makers like Carhartt, Red Wing, Dickies, and Wigwam. Binoculars also abound, and the accessories department stocks canteens and paratroop bags. Clothing and basic gear are all out in the open, but for more specialized equipment—like a sophisticated selection of lighters, compasses, and sunglasses—you'll have to ask the salespeople to unlock the glass display cases. Besides plenty of toys for adults, like dog tags, a children's section boasts tiny T-shirts and nylon flight suits.
