Despite the vintage look of the billowy blouses and high-waisted jeans, the apparel here is all new. But the chests, jewelry cases, and decorative taxidermy setting the stage are all antiques;and all for sale, too. Most of the clothing is from the eponymous In God We Trust brand, defined by its kicky, casual retro look; however, designs by other independent labels, like Eskell and Shenan, are sprinkled here and there throughout the store. A limited amount of menswear is on hand as well, including slim, sleek blazers by Hyden Yoo. But some of the most attention-getting items are the smallest: jewelry fashioned by owner Shana Tabor herself features delicate gold heart-shaped necklaces etched with naughty inscriptions like “Do Me.” — Melissa Noble
