The name is unfamiliar, at least for the moment. But this designer-shoe store in the meatpacking district has the potential to give the neighborhood's other footwear powerhouses (Christian Louboutin, Jeffrey New York) a serious run for the money. Iris is a little-known Italian company that manufactures shoes for Marc Jacobs, Chloé, and Veronique Branquinho.
