Profile
The name is unfamiliar, at least for the moment. But this designer-shoe store in the meatpacking district has the potential to give the neighborhood's other footwear powerhouses (Christian Louboutin, Jeffrey New York) a serious run for the money. Iris is a little-known Italian company that manufactures shoes for Marc Jacobs, John Galliano, Chloé, Viktor & Rolf, Veronique Branquinho, and Paul Smith. But unlike other multibrand stores, this boutique doesn't carry just selected looks from those powerhouse names; it will have every single style (stiletto, boot, slingback, peep toe, platform) in the entire line of each label. In other words, you can find shoes that until now were otherwise unavailable in New York.
Bridal ShoesThe Italian manufacturer’s first stateside store hocks the designer shoes (Viktor & Rolf, Chloé, John Galliano) that it produces. A pair of Marc Jacobs taupe and gray patent leather strappy heels may do the trick under your gown.
