Cute items not worth the terrible customer service / policies

Jacadi has a cute selection. However, their overly restrictive return policies and poor customer service leave a lot to be desired - and should leave you hightailing to Bonpoint, Petit Bateau, or any of the many competitors with very similar items and better service. Jacadi will not allow you to return - even for store credit - items received as gifts unless you have a gift receipt. If like me you received an item as a shower gift, and prefer not to be rude and ask the giver for a gift receipt, you are out of luck. In addition, store credits are only valid at the brand where the item is returned. Clearly, Jacadi doe not understand anything about the needs of its core consumer, parents and soon-to-be-parents without the free time to go to the location most convenient for the store. Good retailers make life easier for their patrons. Jacadi goes out of its way to make shopping there an unpleasant experience. I went in ready to spend $500 on upcoming shower gifts, and walked out with 0 bags, a bad taste in my mouth, and a plan to never shop there again.
