Don’t let this store’s name fool you: The pieces aren’t all made of jade, and the concept is actually quite fresh. Jaded fashions new items based on antique styles. Necklaces of semiprecious stones draped on Grecian marble busts enhance the classical theme. Each piece is copied from a master model using the labor-intensive “lost-wax process,” which ensures the details are painstakingly true to the original. The saffronlike branches of red coral, two-string tourmaline bracelets, faux-Roman-coin necklaces, and sultry snake-shaped gold earrings are all eye-catching, but the most dramatic item may be the ornate topaz-citrine earrings, which feature a heart-shaped stone struck through with a blue sword and ringed by gold laurels. — Alex Littlefield
