While adjusting my glasses, they chipped the frame. Instead of apologizing and offering me some sort of compensation, they denied that they did it when it was clear that they had (the crumbs from the chipping off were still clearly on the frames and they had just attempted to fix something in that exact area). I was livid but since the glasses were already paid for, they didn't care. I will never shop here again, and I will tell everyone I know to steer clear of this place which has the most unknowledgeable, incompetent and dishonest staff of anywhere I've shopped that carries designer products.
It took James Leonard Opticians three times to get my glasses correct. Each time I would go to pick the glasses up, there would be scratches on the lenses. They insisted it was being caused from the anti-glare coating that was applied to the lenses. After the second time, I wanted my credit card reimbursed and they wouldnt do it. Instead they would offer me store credit or they will correct the issue. My glasses now seem good, but never had I received such horrible, incompetent service. I would have prefered to go somewhere else.
In addition to ordering new glasses, I ordered contacts as well. I would check back every few days waiting for my trial lenses to arrive. I would always get the same answer until one day it became clear. They didnt know my name! Once they had my name straightened out, they still had someones phone number in place of mine. To receive glasses and contacts that I was satisfied with took over two months and more inconveniences than I wished to endure.
