Filling the 300-square-foot boutique space vacated by sister brand Dolce Vita, J.D. Fisk opened its Ludlow flagship as the famous shoe line's male counterpart. After pestering the owners for a year, Joel Rich finally received the go-ahead to launch his own venture of “traditional styles with a slight edge.” Within an industrial space furnished with distressed wood, exposed brick, and iron, the brand stocks seasonal footwear in styles that nod to the UK punks of the 70’s and 80’s—burnished wingtip oxfords, chukka boots, and penny loafers in leather or suede. When the warm weather returns to New York, so do Fisk's variety of two-tone saddle and boat shoes, perfect for office casual and stylish summer weekends. Beyond footwear, Fisk offers everything from casual dress shirts and swimwear to jackets, blazers, and classic fall knits, as well as all the appropriate accessories.
