I've traveled and lived in many urban areas. Chinatown NYC is the best on the east coast. Kam Man is the best place to buy hard to find Chinese/Oriental food products and dining room/kitchen items. Prices are very reasonable and normally 25% cheaper than buying in the suburbs...that's if you can find them. Even the prepared food for take-out is very good.
