The owners of this kid-friendly, big-top-sized shop are serious about one thing: Play is the work of childhood, and learning is the happy product. Since the early ‘90s, parents, teachers and savvy gift seekers have flocked to this independent toy emporium to find mind-engaging activities for curious tykes. Wide, stroller-friendly aisles lead to the back section, where the shelves are lined with starter chess sets, science kits, and board games. Snuggly infant suits and accessories occupy the middle of the store, but the only wardrobe items fit for bigger kids are career-themed costumes, including executive chef uniforms and NASA space suits. The front of the shop hosts bundles of invitingly soft plush puppets. — Molly Noonan
Stumbled on the store a few years ago, fantastic window display at christmas caught my eye...I now go nowhere else to shop for all of my son and daughters presents, as well as interesting chachkis for adults. Very attentive employees, all of whom are familiar with the entire stock of the store and GREAT at suggesting appropriate toys. They go above and beyond, calling their other store or the manufacturers if they are out of something. If you have not been here before you are certainly missing out!
Stopped by the store few times. Selection was pretty good but staff was very unfriendly.
When I asked them to help me, the reply was: "what you see is what you get" and they continued chatting between themselves.
