Kiki's Pet Spa and Boutique
|
Profile
When MBA Saran Nurse noticed a lack of pet boutiques in Brooklyn back in 2003, she decided to fill the void. Now Kiki’s—named after Nurse’s own dearly deceased dachshund—has several locations that offer myriad products and services for the borough’s pooches. In addition to finding natural foods, medicines, and doggy outfits at the store, pet owners can have their pups picked up from home for walks or day care. There are boarding services for both dogs and cats, and spa treatments ranging from pedicures and ear cleanings to facials and massage therapy. Behavioral-training sessions and services like vaccination, spaying, and neutering are also available. And owners can even arrange for portraits—photographed, hand-drawn, or hand-painted—of their prized pets.
